A workshop was conducted in January 2006, dedicated to K-12 teachers. It was a 1-day event with classroom and hands-on activities including

• Introduction to micro and nanofabrication technologies
• Processing in the clean room
• Discussion of activities suitable for K-12 students and possible collaborations between U-M and represented schools
