  • Responsibilities

I am currently working in the Center for Neurocommunication Technology (CNCT/NIH) and Engineering Research Center (ERC/NSF). I design, fabricate and participate in the testing of some of the devices funded under CNCT and ERC contracts.
    My responsibilities include the:

    • Design, fabrication and evaluation of micro-electro-mechanical systems devices, including micro-fluidic systems, and integrated electronic circuits, using methods such as on-chip complementary metal oxide semiconductor.
    • Development of fabrication processes for processes such as lithography, thin-film deposition, etching and bonding
    • Characterization of the additive films and materials used for micro-machining and integrated circuit chips to assess consistency of quality and properties.
    • Authorization of operators to use fabrication tools, including low pressure chemical vapor deposition, thermal oxidation, low temperature oxide, high impurity phosphorus and boron doping, sintering and high temperature annealing furnaces, rapid thermal annealing.
    • Authorization users to perform processes, including RCA organic and inorganic prefurnace cleans and highly selective p-type doped silicon etching with Ethylene Diamine Pyrocatechol.
